Are you a physicist curious about patterns of forces in living tissues? A biologist who loves microscopy & the cytoskeleton? A theorist who wants to dissect rich, 3D morphodynamic datasets? An applied mathematician who loves image analysis?

We are always seeking driven and creative researchers to join us. We encourage applicants with backgrounds in diverse areas of science. Our goal is to develop quantitative models linking genes to organ shape change. To do so, we integrate experimental, computational, and analytical approaches from developmental biology and the physical sciences. We also aim to build an inclusive, supportive, & collaborative lab culture.

We have an open call for a Research Specialist or post-bacc here and will consider candidates through the CMDB post-bacc program.

For graduate studies at UChicago, check out the PhD programs in BiophysicsBiosciences, Physics, and Molecular Engineering. Students already enrolled in any of these programs —or others— should contact Noah about joining the group.

Postdoctoral candidates should reach out directly to Noah, but may also refer to the CLS Fellowship, NITMB Fellowship, and Chicago Fellowship.
