We are open to researchers who are driven, creative, and interdisciplinary. We are an experimental lab that integrates computational and analytical approaches from developmental biology and the physical sciences to develop quantitative models linking genes to organ shape change. We aim to build an inclusive, supportive, & collaborative lab culture.

Postdoctoral candidates should contact Noah directly and may also refer to the CLS Fellowship, NITMB Fellowship, Chicago Fellowship, Yen Fellowship, Grainger Fellowship. and HSFP Fellowship.

For graduate studies at UChicago, check out the PhD programs in BiophysicsBiosciences, Physics, and Molecular Engineering. Students already enrolled in any of these programs —or others— should contact Noah about joining the group.

Post-bacc/technician candidates should contact Noah directly and are considered through the CMDB post-bacc program.

We have limited spots for undergraduate researchers as well. Contact Noah directly.

The NSF Physics Frontier Center for Living Systems, Institute for Biophysical Dynamics, and National Institute for Mathematics and Biology support a rich research and training environment. Trainees benefit from inter-departmental (and institutional) collaborations to pursue questions at the interface of physics, mathematics, and biology.
